Shenyang Rubber Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd.(SRI), founded in 1958, is subordinated to China National Chemical Corporation (CHEMCHINA), a fortune 500 enterprise. The company is located in Tiexi District, Shenyang, Liaoning, and covers an area of 100,000㎡. SRI currently employs 334 staffs, including 118 technical personnel, 22 professional senior engineers and 24 senior engineers. As the first national research institute focusing on rubber hoses, rubber coated-fabric products, the products are widely used in various industries such as military equipments, aviation, shipbuilding, nuclear power, electric power and metallurgical, etc.
Authorized by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC), Secretariat of National Standardization Technical Committee on Rubber and Rubber Products (SAC/TC35), Secretariat of Subcommittee on Rubber Hoses (SAC/TC35/SC1), and Secretariat of Subcommittee on Coated-fabrics Products (SAC/ TC35/SC10) are held by SRI. Also appointed by SAC, SRI works as a counterpart organization to ISO/TC45 Rubber and Rubber Products.
Chemical Industry Rubber Hoses and Coated fabric Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center is also held by SRI. The test center is authorized by General Administration of Qualify Supervision, to supervise the product samplings. Possessing laboratory area of 1300㎡and 140 advanced test equipments, the test center devotes to scientific research and rubber products manufacturing over the years.
