Standardization facilitates innovation and progress of the times. Standards have become a lingua franca in the world. As the host city of the 2016 G20 Summit, Hangzhou has been actively promoting the exchange and cooperation in international standardization, aiming to make its contributions to the prosperity of international standardization.
在国际标准化组织（ISO）和中国国家标准化管理委员会(SAC)的指导关心下，2017年6月30日，国际标准化会议基地正式落户杭州建设运行，这是全国首个国际标准化专业领域的会议基地，标志着杭州正迈向打造国际标准化会议目的地城市的新阶段。
Under the guidance and support of the International Standardization Organization (ISO)and the Standardization Administration of China (SAC), the International Standardization Conference Base was officially settled in Hangzhou on June 30th, 2017. It is China’s first conference base of international standardization, marking Hangzhou’s embarking on a new stage of forging itself as the destination city of international standardization conference.

The major functions of the International Standardization Conference Base
1 承办ISO,IEC,ITU等国际标准组织以及区域性标准组织的年度会议、工作会议；
2 承办国际标准组织TC、SC、工作组等会议；
3 承办国际国内各类标准化论坛；
4 服务国际标准组织领导人、国际标准化专家来中国对接交流；
5 促进国际标准组织与国内高校及科研院所联合开展标准化研究，开展教育培训合作事项。

2. Host the conferences of international standardization organizations such asthe TC, the SC and the WG;
3. Host various kinds of domestic and international standardization forums;
4. Serve the leaders of international standardization organizations and experts during their visit to China;
5. Promote the coordinated research on standardization by international standardization organizations with domestic universities and research institutes, and carry out educational training and cooperation.

The International Standardization Conference Base is located at Qianjiang CBD, Hangzhou, with an area of over 2000 square meters as the main conference venues.
